Do you know that if you look closely at your tongue there are little bumps called  papillae and they hold our taste buds  on the side.

The more papillae you have then the more you can taste. Also there is a thing called micro villi that helps you taste.


What happens when you have a cold
When you have a cold you can not smell or taste because the snot in your nose blocks your taste from getting to your olfactory receptors.
